After the sewage is collected in pieces, the village sewage is treated with small and medium sewage treatment equipment or natural treatment. This treatment mode has the characteristics of flexible layout, simple construction, convenient management, and guaranteed effluent water quality. It is suitable for village sewage treatment with scattered village layout, small scale, complicated topographical conditions, and difficult to collect sewage. It is usually used in areas where the layout of villages in the central and western regions of China is relatively scattered.
The second is the centralized treatment mode, that is, the sewage generated by all farmers is collected centrally, and a single treatment facility is built to treat all the sewage in the village. Sewage treatment adopts natural treatment, conventional biological treatment and other process forms. This treatment mode has the characteristics of small footprint, strong impact resistance, safe and reliable operation, and good effluent quality. It is suitable for single village or joint village wastewater treatment with relatively dense village layout, large scale, good economic conditions, developed township enterprises or tourism, and is located in the water source protection area. It is usually suitable for rural areas with densely distributed villages and good economic bases in eastern and northern China.
The third is the unified treatment mode of access to the municipal pipe network, that is, all the sewage of the farmers in the village is collected by the sewage pipes and then integrated into the neighboring municipal sewage pipe network, and the urban sewage treatment plant is used to uniformly treat the village sewage. This processing mode has the characteristics of saving investment, short construction period, quick results, and convenient unified management. It is suitable for village sewage treatment which meets the elevation access requirements within 5 kilometers from the municipal sewage pipe network. It is suitable for use in rural areas close to cities or towns with good economic foundations and conditions for transforming rural sewage treatment from decentralized pollution control to centralized pollution control and centralized control.
